Yorkshire Terrier
The Yorkshire Terrier is a small dog breed of terrier type, developed in the 19th
century in the county of Yorkshire, England to catch rats in clothing mills, also
used for rat-baiting. The defining features of the breed are its size, 3 pounds (1.4
kg) to 7 pounds (3.2 kg), and its silky blue and tan coat. The breed is nicknamed
Yorkie and is placed in the Toy Terrier section of the Terrier Group by the
Fédération Cynologique Internationale and in the Toy Group or Companion Group
by other kennel clubs, although all agree that the breed is a terrier. A popular
companion dog, the Yorkshire Terrier has also been part of the development of
other breeds, such as the Australian Silky Terrier. A Yorkie’s life expectancy is

Mini Dachshund
Dachshunds come in three sizes: standard, miniature, and kaninchen
(German for "rabbit"), and exhibit three coat varieties: smooth coat
(short hair), long hair, and wire-hair. Dachshunds have a wide variety of
colors and patterns. They can be single-colored, single-colored with
spots ("dappled"-called "merle" in other dog breeds), and single-
colored with tan points plus any pattern, and live an average of 12.7

Pomeranian
Pomeranians are small dogs weighing 4 –7 lbs and standing 5 –11 inches tall.
They are compact but sturdy dogs with an abundant textured coat with a highly
plumed tail set high and flat. Pomeranians are typically a very friendly and lively
breed of dog. They love to be around their owners and are known to be protective

German Shepherd
The German Shepherd is a working dog developed originally for herding and
guarding sheep. Because of its strength, intelligence and abilities in obedience
training it is often employed in police and military roles around the world. German
Shepherds are a large sized dog, generally between 22 and 26 inches at the
withers. Weight is 66–88 lbs for males and 49–71 lbs for females. German

Great Dane
The Great Dane, also known as German Mastiff or Danish Hound, is a breed of
domestic dog known for its giant size. As described by the American Kennel Club,
"The Great Dane combines, in its regal appearance, dignity, strength and
elegance with great size and a powerful, well-formed, smoothly muscled body. It
is one of the giant working breeds, but is unique in that its general conformation
must be so well balanced that it never appears clumsy, and shall move with a
long reach and powerful drive." The Great Dane's large and imposing appearance
belies its friendly nature. The breed is often referred to as a gentle giant.

Maltipoo
Maltipoos are hybrids, sometimes called designer dogs. They are a cross between Malteses and Poodles.
The aim is to produce a healthy dog that won't carry genetic diseases. Maltipoos are 14 inches tall and
can weigh from 5-15 lbs. The coat is soft, silky and can be straight, wavy or curly. Colors are black, gray,
apricot, cream, some with white areas and solid white.
While these little dogs are not watchdog material, they make excellent family pets. They are good with
children as well as other dogs, cats and other pets, are affectionate and very loving. Maltipoos are

Malshitzu
The Maltese Shih Tzu, also known as the Mal-Shi, Malti zu, and the Malt-Tzu, is a hybrid created to be a
small companion who doesn’t shed much and is therefore more appropriate for people with allergies. The
Malshitzu is a sweet lapdog who likes to play with the kids, weighs 6 to 12 lbs. and lives 12 to 14 years.
